Joy leads us to laughter and lightness. It shows up in our life in bright bursts of color and positive energy. Joy activates goodness, it draws people in for a shared happy experience, and it frees up mental and physical space in our lives. It is a welcome break from stress.
To experience the greatest benefit of joy, it is important to intentionally make time for it often. Like other important practices, the more you do it, the easier it gets. The more you create moments of joy in your life, the more awareness you have when a moment of joy is near and can be captured with very little effort. This is the goal. This is the journey.
